Could Orra Be Part of Your Guest Experience?
There’s something quite special about discovering a little extra when you arrive somewhere.
A beautiful view. A bath waiting to be filled. A thoughtful touch that makes you slow down and think, I’m definitely making the most of this.
That’s exactly where we see Orra.
Our at-home seaweed baths were created to bring one of Ireland’s oldest coastal wellness rituals into the comfort of your own bath. Each one is filled with hand-harvested Fucus serratus from the Atlantic coast, air dried and packed into an organic cotton bag, ready to be steeped in hot water.
No spa room required. No complicated set-up. Just a bath, hot water and a little time to switch off.
Bringing seaweed bathing to the guest room
Over the past year, we’ve loved seeing Orra find its way into hotels and stays across Ireland, whether offered as an in-room experience, an optional guest add-on or as part of a carefully considered retail collection.
And now, we’re looking for a small number of new places to bring Orra to next.
We’re particularly interested in hearing from hotels, retreats, coastal stays, cabins, lodges and other beautiful places where wellness, nature and a memorable guest experience already feel at home.
For some properties, it could also be an opportunity to offer something their guests may not have experienced anywhere else.
Seaweed bathing is so closely connected with Ireland's coastline and bathing culture, yet it's still relatively unusual to find it offered within your own accommodation. For properties with beautiful baths, outdoor tubs or private hot pools, an Orra seaweed bath can turn something already there into an experience in its own right.
Simple for you. Something special for them.
We know the best guest experiences are often the ones that don't create lots of extra work behind the scenes.
Our seaweed remains contained within its cotton bag throughout the bath, making the experience easy for guests to use and straightforward for housekeeping afterwards. Once finished, the seaweed can even be composted or returned to the land as a natural fertiliser.
For guests, however, it feels like much more than a simple addition to the room.
It's an invitation to run the bath, put the phone down and spend an hour soaking in something that has come straight from the Atlantic.
And we think that's the sort of thing people remember.
Could Orra be a fit for your guests?
We want to work with places that feel naturally aligned with Orra, whether you're a boutique hotel looking for a new in-room experience, a spa wanting to introduce seaweed bathing, or a secluded stay searching for a thoughtful extra that sets the guest experience apart.
You don't need to already have a seaweed offering. In fact, we'd love to hear from properties that could become one of the first of their kind in their area to introduce one.
Alongside our seaweed baths, we also offer our Seaweed-Infused Body Oil, giving hospitality partners the opportunity to build a wider Orra ritual across guest experiences, spa and retail.
So, if you've ever looked at the beautiful bath, outdoor tub or hot pool in your property and thought it could be doing a little more…
Perhaps this is it.
