Best to Use
At Orra, we believe bathing should be more than just a routine—it’s a moment to reconnect with nature, restore your body, and soothe your mind. Our seaweed baths are designed to bring the wild Atlantic’s healing powers straight to your home. To help you get the most from your experience, here’s our guide to best use:
Preparing Your Seaweed Bath
Step 1: Place the organic cotton mesh bag filled with hand-harvested Fucus Serratus seaweed into your bathtub.
Step 2: Run the hot tap and fill the bath to your desired level.
Step 3: Let the seaweed steep in the hot water for 15–20 minutes. This allows the seaweed to release its rich minerals and oils, creating a deeply restorative and detoxifying soak.
Step 4: Adjust the water temperature by adding cold water until it’s just right for you.
Enjoying Your Bath
Step in and take a moment to breathe deeply. Let your body absorb the nourishing benefits of the seaweed while you relax fully.
Soak for at least 20 minutes, or longer if time allows, to maximize hydration, muscle relief, and skin rejuvenation.
After Your Bath
Gently step out and wrap yourself in a soft towel or cozy robe. Take caution as the bath can be slippery from the oil.
Rinsing is optional—if you prefer to retain the seaweed’s oils on your skin, avoid a thorough rinse to prolong the moisturising effect.
Drink plenty of water to hydrate your body after your soak. We recommend refreshing yourself with a cool mint water or a calming peppermint tea, perfect companions to your coastal ritual.
Caring for Your Seaweed Bag
Our seaweed bags are designed primarily for single use to ensure maximum potency and freshness.
If you wish to use the seaweed a second time, hang the bag over your bath to dry thoroughly—just keep in mind it’s best to use it again within the next day to preserve its benefits.
Alternatively, you can store the seaweed bag in your freezer to delay your next bath until you're ready, preserving its quality for longer. However, for the best experience, fresh use is recommended.
Sustainability Matters.
We are committed to honouring the environment as much as the seaweed itself. Here’s how we keep things green:
Compostable Seaweed: After your bath, the seaweed can be composted, returning its nutrients safely to the earth.
Recyclable Packaging: Our boxes are made from recyclable materials, so please recycle your packaging to help protect our oceans and natural spaces.

Pair your soak with quiet time, meditation, or gentle stretches to enhance relaxation.
